Results 2017

Year 11 GCSE results Summer 2017:
100% of students achieved at least 1 GCSE

100% of students achieved 6 or more GCSE grades A*-G, this compares to 80% of students in 2016.
44% of students achieved 9-4 (equivalent of A*- C grade) in either English or Maths

78% achieved at least one A*-C grade, this compares to 45% in 2016.
2 students achieved 4 A* – C / 9 – 4 grades including English or Maths.

2 students achieved 3 A* – C / 9 – 4 grades.
The average number of GCSEs taken was 8.3 per student, compared to 6.6 per student in 2016.

Students took GCSE examinations in a range of subjects including English Language, English Literature, Maths, Core & Additional Science, ICT, Catering, Art and Health & Social Care.

A* – C /9 – 4 grades were achieved in English Language, English Literature, Maths, ICT, Catering, and Health & Social Care.

4 students achieved 6 or more GCSEs A*-C
