Dear parents and carers

We have been advised by Public Health England that there have been confirmed cases of COVID19 at Limpsfield Grange School.

Limpsfield Grange School will remain open and your child should continue to attend as normal if they are well.

Could I please ask you to continue to test your child twice weekly using a Lateral Flow Test to help identify COVID19 cases. We need you to do this so that we can keep students and staff safe, and to enable Limpsfield Grange to stay open.

If your child displays any COVID19 symptoms please take them for a PCR test. This helps us to identify any chains of infection, and to keep everyone at Limpsfield Grange safe. Your child should stay at home whilst they await their PCR test result. A negative PCR test result means that your child can return to school.

If the PCR test result is positive, your child should isolate until at least 10 days after their symptoms appeared.

Symptoms of coronavirus (COVID19) are:
⦁ a new, continuous cough,
⦁ a high temperature, (headache or body aches)
⦁ a loss of, or change in, their normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)

A PCR test can be arranged via Get a free PCR test to check if you have coronavirus (COVID19) – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) or by calling 119.

If you have any questions about this matter please do contact me; I would be happy to answer your questions.

Yours faithfully

Sarah Wild
