Thursday 4th March 2021

Dear parents and carers

I hope that you are well. We are really looking forward to seeing all of the girls next week and getting back to some semblance of normality.

As you know, next week we are testing students for COVID19 in school. The testing process is voluntary, and students will be free to make their own decision about being tested.

If your daughter participates in the COVID19 testing at school, we are required to share your contact details with the NHS, and they will email you with your child’s test result. If you do not wish for your contact details to be shared with the NHS, please contact me by 10am on Friday 5th March 2021.

If your daughter tests positive for COVID19, you will be asked to come and collect her from school as a matter of urgency. She will then be required to self-isolate and book an NHS test.

Next week if your daughter is ill with any COVID19 symptoms, I would ask that you keep her at home, that your daughter and your household self-isolate and that you book an NHS test. COVID19 symptoms include:

  • A high temperature
  • A new continuous cough
  • A loss of taste or smell

If you have any questions about the testing program, please do contact me. I would be happy to discuss our plans with you.

Kind regards
Mrs. Wild
