Sent out 15th October 2018:

Dear Parents, Carers and Families,

From 6th to 8th November 2018 the team at Limpsfield Grange will be undergoing our Autism Re-accreditation Assessment with the National Autistic Society. This is a process where the National Autistic Society comes into school to assess how effective our autism practice is.

The Autism Re-accreditation Assessment will not disrupt any aspect of the running of the school, and will not impact on the lessons that the girl’s access.

As part of the assessment, you are invited to complete an online survey where you can share your views about the school. I have included the link to the survey below, for your information. The deadline for completing the survey is Monday 22nd October 2018, and I would be grateful if you could spare 5 minutes to feedback on your experience of Limpsfield Grange.

If you would like any further information about our Autism Re-accreditation Assessment please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be happy to answer your questions.

With kind regards
Mrs Wild

The following was sent out on 14th September 2017:

Dear Parents, Carers and Families,

I wanted to share information with you about Net Aware.

Net Aware is a simple guide for parents to the most popular social networks, apps and games.  You can learn about the privacy settings and safety guidelines for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and more.  You can also read up-to-date reviews from parents and children for each app, game and social network.

The guide, which is aimed at parents and carers of 8-12 year olds, is based on over 750 reviews from an O2/NSPCC parent panel and over 1720 young people who reviewed 50 social networks and apps.

It aims to provide parents with up-to-date information about the sites most commonly used by young people.  The NSCPCC hope the guides will help parents talk to their children about staying safe on those platforms.

Features include:

  • minimum age for the most popular apps
  • possible dangers
  • why children like it
  • how easy it is to report inappropriate content
  • how easy it is to change the privacy setting
  • general online safety news stories

I hope that you find this website useful.

Kind regards
Mrs Wild

Student Attendance Policy January 2017

The following was Parentmailed on 1st March 2017:

Dear Parents, Carers and Families,

I would like to update you regarding our procedures for contacting the school about medication.

Please note that all medication sent into school must be in its original packaging with a current and correct prescription label. It is your duty to inform Jennie Flint (Deputy Head of the Residential Provision) of your intention to send medication in to school by email at miss.flint@limpsfield-grange.surrey.sch.uk and to copy Miss Phillips, Deputy Head (deputy@limpsfield-grange.surrey.sch.uk) into your correspondence.

This change has occurred as Sarah Taylor, our Residential Keyworker with responsibility for Health and Wellbeing, has moved on to pursue other interests. We wish Sarah luck for her future endeavours.

If you have any questions regarding this matter please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Mrs Wild
Headteacher
